The Higher Institute of Physical Education was founded in 1954, where it was affiliated to the ministry of education, then in 1975 to Helwan University and finally in 1989 to Alexandria University. The Faculty organizes Physical fitness as well as computer science training programs. In addition the faculty provides physical services to Alexandria children through the summer club activities. The faculty also provides statistical analysis for physical education data and provides all relevant consultations.
